• Vision: The vision of the SAIHCM is to enhance and promote high standards of professional health care management in both the public and the private health sectors of South Africa through appropriate professional development, training, education and research.

• Mission: The SAIHCM will ensure that the outcomes
 attained through the Institute will result in an acceptable standard of health care for the South African people and advance the principles of equity in health.
